About Milo Pettibone

Milo is a charming and quirky 4-year-old, 55-pound yellow Lab mix who is sure to bring laughter and love into your life. He's a sweet soul with a playful spirit, and while he might occasionally chase a shadow or a toy, his main goal is to find his emotional security. Milo thrives on routine and predictability, which helps him relax and feel safe. He's a calm and loyal companion around the house, happy to lounge nearby. When it's time to go outside, he celebrates with a signature trot-bark, a unique display of pure joy and mild confusion! He enjoys playtime, a good bark at passersby, and then heads back in for a well-deserved nap.

Ideal Home

Milo would do best in a home that can provide him with a consistent routine and plenty of predictability to help build his confidence.

Ongoing Health

Milo has some separation anxiety, but it improves as he learns he will be reunited with his person.

Training & Support

Milo is mostly housebroken and does best with frequent potty breaks and a consistent schedule. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys his yard time. He gets along well with other dogs, but it's important to manage feeding situations to prevent any guarding of food. Milo is also a counter surfer, and while he knows it's not allowed, he'll take advantage of unattended moments. A patient adopter who understands that trust and routine are key will be essential for his success.
