Carboncito

Carboncito, a 5-month-old male pup weighing 10 kgs, is a sweet and playful boy with a heart of gold. He was found in the middle of the street, barely breathing, malnourished, and suffering from a bad internal infection. He lost some fur from his chest, but it's slowly growing back. Carboncito loves to play with other playful dogs and has been doing wonderfully with the cats and kids in his foster home. He's a bit shy with new people at first, but his food motivation makes him quick to warm up with a tasty treat! He's also getting good on the leash and enjoys car rides.

Ideal Home

Carboncito would thrive in a home with other playful dogs and would enjoy the company of friendly cats and children.

Ongoing Health

Carboncito is recovering from a past infection and is showing good progress. Some fur loss on his chest is also healing.

Training & Support

He is still working on his potty training and can be a little shy initially with new people. Treats will be your best friend in helping him feel comfortable and encouraging him! He is good on the leash.

Transportation

Carboncito is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters can arrange for him to be transported to the US or Canada with the help of flight companions. You will meet him at the airport to welcome him home. During the summer, if a Canadian flight companion isn't available, he may fly into the US and be picked up at the Peace Arch Park at the border.
