Meet Dolly!

Dolly is a 5-year-old Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix weighing around 70 pounds. She is a truly sweet soul who was surrendered because her family no longer had time for her. Dolly was once a registered emotional support animal, giving endless comfort, loyalty, and love. Despite her past, she remains a loving and gentle dog. Dolly absolutely adores people and attention. She loves to give "Great Pyrenees hugs" by gently wrapping her paws around you. She enjoys being pampered, brushed, pet, and loved on, and will happily roll over for belly rubs.

Ideal Home

Dolly's ideal forever home is one fully committed to loving her for the rest of her days. She would love a home with a yard where she can peacefully roam and relax. Apartment living is not her ideal fit. Because she thrives on companionship, she would do best with someone who is home more often than not, as she will whine/cry when you leave due to her big feelings for her loved ones.

Training & Support

Dolly walks wonderfully on leash, though she prefers a slower pace. She gets along great with other dogs, preferring calmer companions over rowdy young puppies. She has also done well with cats and children. Dolly is not a fan of kennels but is trustworthy in the home, not destructive, and can safely be left loose when alone.
