Chook AKA Chaz JuM

Hey there, I'm Chook, also known as Chaz JuM! My foster pawrents say "Chook" is Australian for "Chicken" - pretty fancy, huh? I'm a handsome Bully Breed mix with a soft, reddish coat and ears that have a mind of their own. I'm not a big guy, weighing in at about 42 pounds. My journey here was a bit of an adventure, starting with a kind bystander who rescued me but couldn't keep me. Luckily, I landed with my current foster pawrents, who happen to be dog trainers – how cool is that?! They're teaching me all sorts of fun things like "sit," "down," "place," and how to walk nicely on a leash.

Ideal Home

When I first meet you, I might be a little shy, but once I'm comfortable, I'm a lively and playful pup! I love to bark and zoom around the backyard like a silly goose. I think I'd do well in a home with older teenagers, but I really need a home without young children because I can be quite mouthy during play.

Training & Support

I've got some great foundation obedience skills thanks to my foster pawrents. They're even sending home lessons with my new family to help me continue to succeed! I'm very dog-social, though I can be a little pushy sometimes, but I'm easily corrected. I'd absolutely love to have another doggy sibling in my new home. I haven't been tested with cats yet.
