July is an 8-year-old, spayed female Pitbull mix who weighs 59 pounds. She was rescued from a county shelter in Houston, Texas, and is currently in a foster home there. July is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves to be by her favorite people's side, whether she's resting her head on your chest or soaking up some back scratches. She has a moderate energy level, enjoying a couple of walks a day and playing with toys, and her zoomies are described as adorable and slightly awkward, adding to her charm!

Ideal Home

July would be happy in an apartment or a house, as long as she has people to love and a cozy spot to snuggle. She has done well in both settings. While she generally does well with other dogs, she'd be content as your one-and-only as well. Her gentle nature suggests she'd do well in a family home, but supervised play with very young children is recommended due to her size and enthusiasm during zoomies.

Training & Support

July is fully house-trained and comfortable in her crate. She is generally non-destructive but may occasionally take an unattended sandal, so keeping shoes picked up is a good idea. She is eager to please and responds well to guidance. Continued leash training would be beneficial.
