He looks like a bulldog/staffie mix, but as always, our best guess. What we do know for sure is that Barney has mastered the art of being chill. His foster describes him as easygoing, affectionate, and wonderfully low-key. He lives with multiple dogs of all sizes and ages and gets along beautifully with everyone, happily coexisting and minding his own business like the unbothered king he is. Barney doesn't need the spotlight. He's more of a "I'll be right here if you need me" kind of companion. He's confident and loving with people, happy to accept affection. He greets the world with a calm curiosity, takes everything in stride, and if something isn't his vibe, he simply turns away and carries on. His top skills include: professional-level lounging, slow wandering, and executing a 10/10 sploot with textbook form. He's not here for chaos or cardio. Once he's decided he's done walking, he's done. He would thrive in a home that appreciates a slower pace and doesn't expect playful, high-energy antics. Barney is the definition of a companion dog. Transporation

Barney is located in our Texas-based facility. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
