Angie is the embodiment of a "house hippo" – a professional snuggler, world-class sunbather, and a loyal companion who is perfectly content just hanging out by your side. If you're looking for a Pittie mix with a calm demeanor and a love for couch cuddles, Angie is your girl! She's a 4-year-old, 56 lb pittie mix with a short, stocky build, a cute blocky head, and a soft, shiny black coat. Angie's foster calls her an "A+ snuggler" who is happiest curled up next to her person, not taking up the whole bed. She's incredibly easy to live with, quietly napping near her foster while they work from home and enjoying sunbeams through the doggy door.
Ideal Home
Angie would thrive in a home where she can be a beloved member of the family. She has done wonderfully with children ages 4-10 and would be happiest with kids around 6 years and older who can appreciate her gentle nature. She would also enjoy the company of another mellow, respectful dog, but would also be content as the sole canine companion. Angie needs a home without cats, as she finds them too interesting.
Ongoing Health
Angie is a rescue dog, and while her exact breed and age are a mystery, she is believed to be around 4 years old and approximately 56 lbs. All vetting is included in the adoption fee, which covers vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip.
Training & Support
Angie is crate trained and a wonderful houseguest, able to stay in her kennel for up to eight hours. Her only minor quirk is an occasional interest in chewing shoes and magazines, which can be managed by keeping tempting items out of reach and crating her when unsupervised. Her foster has also noted she is a quiet girl who doesn't feel the need to comment on everything.
