Benny

Benny is a sweet, 4–4.5-year-old neutered male Australian Cattle Dog mix who weighs around 45–50 pounds. He has a playful, fun-loving personality and his absolute favorite activity is playing frisbee—he can leap and catch it mid-air for hours! Benny loves the water and would be a fantastic companion for all your summer adventures. He's smart, handsome, and ready for an active, playful home. Benny ended up in a shelter through no fault of his own. He plays well with other medium to large dogs, both male and female, and has even been known to step in as a peacemaker when he notices tension between other dogs. He rides well in the car and does not experience anxiety when left home alone. Benny has a medium energy level; he’s not hyper, but he does love to run, jump, and engage in fun activities.

Ideal Home

Benny would thrive in an active, playful home. He would be happy as an only dog or with a compatible canine companion. He is not a fan of tie-outs or electric fences.

Ongoing Health

Benny is up to date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Benny is crate trained and fully potty trained. He was previously adopted but returned due to improper introductions with another male dog. In his current environment, he has had no issues playing appropriately with dogs his size or larger. Cats are unknown.
