Meet Burger King, or King for short! This young, friendly goofball has a rescue story as memorable as his name. King was found as a stray after running under a truck at Burger King and deciding he was absolutely not coming back out. He was posted online, but no one came forward to claim him. Now this happy, heartworm-negative boy is ready to trade parking lot adventures for a forever family of his own. King is believed to be very young, possibly around a year old, and he has all the joyful, bouncy energy to prove it. He is friendly, silly, and excited about everything and everyone he meets. He loves people, loves other dogs, and approaches life with full-body enthusiasm. If you are looking for a happy, playful adventure buddy who loves big and lives life out loud, King may be your guy!

Ongoing Health
King is heartworm-negative. All pets in our care are fully vetted, vaccinated, dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and provided with monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Please note that while we do everything possible to ensure our dogs are healthy before adoption, puppies especially can later develop illnesses such as giardia, coccidia, or parvo, and adult dogs may test negative for heartworms initially and later test positive.
Training & Support
King could use a little help learning his manners, but he is eager, loving, and full of potential. With patience, structure, and someone who appreciates his goofy spirit, he is going to make a fun and loyal best friend.

Transporation
King is currently located in Mississippi in one of our foster homes. We provide transport to the Northeast, which is included in the adoption fee. We have multiple transport stops in PA, CT, RI, NY and NH. Once your application has been processed and approved, we will complete a phone interview and schedule the next available transport date.
