Hazel

Hazel is a 10-month-old, 30-pound sweetheart with a heart full of love and a nose for adventure! She came to us in November 2025 with her siblings, who were quickly adopted, but our gentle girl was overlooked. Hazel is incredibly sweet and loves to be by your side, a true shadow. She adores other dogs, big or small, and even gets along with cats! Hazel is house and crate trained and would make a wonderful companion for children. Her absolute favorite thing? Water! Whether it's a small puddle or a vast ocean, Hazel is ready to splash and play. She's considered full-grown and is just waiting for her forever family to notice her.

Ideal Home

Hazel would thrive in an active home where she can go on adventures, especially to places with water!

Ongoing Health

Hazel is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives. She will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian before transport.

Training & Support

Hazel is already house and crate trained. Her foster family highlights her sweetness and suggests she'd be a great fit for a family with children.

Transporation

Hazel is currently located in Texas. We do not adopt animals within Texas, but we do adopt to the Central US and the East Coast. Transport from Texas is included in the adoption fee and occurs every 2-3 weeks to the following locations: Albany and Latham, NY; Wells and Brattleboro, VT; Willington, New Haven, and Dayville, CT; Port Chester, NY; Dayton and Akron, OH; Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA; Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ; White Marsh/Elkton, MD; and Falls Church, VA.
