Meet Peony, a sweet 7-month-old German Shepherd mix who’s learning to blossom! She came to us a bit timid, but with the help of our Shy Dog Program, she's gaining confidence every day. Peony is a bit wary of new things, like doorways, but she's working on conquering her fears. Once she feels comfortable, her true personality shines through – she's incredibly affectionate and loves gentle attention. Treats are definitely her love language, and she's a polite girl when accepting them! Peony is looking for a patient and understanding home that will allow her to adjust at her own pace and celebrate every one of her brave little victories. With time and love, this shy girl will make a wonderfully loyal companion.
