About Liko

Liko's story is one that truly tugs at the heartstrings. At just two weeks old, she and her family faced unimaginable cruelty when someone attempted to set them on fire. Miraculously, Liko survived and, after being rescued, was eventually adopted. Now, through no fault of her own, this resilient pup is back, searching for a forever home where she can finally feel secure and loved. Despite her traumatic start, Liko has grown into an incredible dog. She can be a bit shy at first, but once she trusts you, she becomes your most devoted best friend, always wanting to be by your side. She's smart, crate-trained, and potty-trained, excelling at commands like "sit," "stay," "down," and "place." Liko walks beautifully on a leash and is always eager to learn, thriving with structure, activity, and loving people. She absolutely adores sunshine, often found basking in any available sunbeam. Her foster family affectionately calls her "Mayhem" for her goofy antics and talent for entertaining herself, from rolling in mud to chasing her tail. But her favorite place to be is right next to her people, snoring contentedly after a day of adventures.

Ideal Home

Liko would do best as the only dog in the home, as she truly thrives when she doesn't have to share her family's attention. She is fine with cats and would likely do well with older children who can respect her space and enthusiasm.

Ongoing Health

Liko has no ongoing health conditions to report.
