Ideal Home
Anna would be a perfect addition to a multi-pet household, including with feline friends. She has been wonderful with children aged 8-12. A home without a mountain of stairs would be ideal as she builds her strength, though she can handle them when needed. She does have a little to say when left alone, so a home with another dog or a consistent routine would be beneficial.

Anna has mastered the art of the crate and sees it as her ultimate safe haven. She is a polite, quiet presence in the house. She rides beautifully in the car and has proven to be an incredible companion on the go, calm and content during a six-hour road trip and relaxed during outdoor restaurant outings. She is a polite greeter with other dogs, taking time to assess new friends before engaging. She is a total pro at sharing her space and toys. Anna walks well on leash and has shown she can stick close during off-leash time in safe, familiar settings. She loves to swim.

Transporation
Anna is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
