About Milo Pettibone

Milo is a charming and goofy 4-year-old, 55-pound Lab mix with a heart of gold and a penchant for the delightfully peculiar. He's a sweet soul who loves his toys and occasionally indulges in a good chase, whether it's a squirrel, a shadow, or the sheer joy of his own antics. Milo thrives on routine and predictability, which helps him feel secure and allows his wonderfully goofy personality to truly shine. While he can be a bit anxious when left alone, he blossoms into a loyal and loving companion once he knows he's safe and his people will return. He's a calm and happy lounge-buddy around the house, but outside, he's known for his signature trot-bark celebration!

Ideal Home

Milo would thrive in a home that can provide him with a consistent routine and a predictable environment. He bonds deeply and becomes incredibly devoted to his person.

Ongoing Health

Milo does have some separation anxiety, but it improves as he learns that his person always comes back.

Training & Support

Milo is mostly housebroken but does best with frequent potty breaks and a consistent schedule. He is a counter surfer, and while he knows it's not allowed, he's known to "grab and go" when he thinks no one is looking. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys his yard time. Milo gets along well with other dogs, but it's best to manage feeding situations to avoid any food-related conflicts. He needs a special person who understands that trust takes time and routine builds confidence.
