Topaz is a precious stone said by some to bring love and good fortune. I am estimated to be about 3 years old and am a handsome large-sized boy at around 75 pounds with a unique golden brindle coat that is sure to turn heads. I have the most amazing Hound bark and howl, but I don't use it very often. I love people and am a very sweet and exceptionally smart boy. I love to "sit" for treats, know the "down" command, and I am crate trained and house trained. I have experience using a doggie door as well. I even used "Fluent Pet" buttons when I was a puppy to let my people know when I need to go potty or would like to go outside. Pretty impressive, right? I love other dogs and enjoy playing with toys.
Ideal Home
I will need a house with plenty of room for me to run and play while being supervised. A securely fenced yard would be wonderful—no invisible fences, please. Apartment living is not the right fit for me. I have lived with cats, but I do have a tendency to chase them, so I would do best with dog-savvy cats that are comfortable around dogs, or in a home without cats. I have not lived with young children, but based on my personality, I would most likely do well in a home with older children, middle school age and up, who can respectfully interact with a larger dog.

Training & Support
I will need a person with plenty of time to spend with me and who is willing to continue my training so I can continue to be the very best version of myself.

Transporation
I am located in Springfield, MO. We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out.
