Lexus is a sweet and shy girl who is learning to trust new people. She's currently enjoying "Musical Foster" to help her gain more socialization, experiencing different homes and people. While she takes a couple of days to warm up in new environments, she quickly becomes the best girl once she knows you. At night, she's perfectly content in her crate next to her foster's bed, or even in your bed if you prefer! She's not a fan of being crated during the day, and apartment living would likely not be a good fit for her. Lexus is making great progress with her crate training, though, and is improving each day. She's a cuddle bug who loves snuggles and hugs, and she's even getting used to brewery visits and the people who want to pet her!
Ideal Home
Lexus would thrive in a home with a patient adopter who works from home or is retired. An adult-only home would be ideal due to her shy nature and a previous hesitation around a young child. She absolutely MUST go to a home with another friendly dog, as she loves playing with big dogs and gets along well with other dogs and even cats. Apartment living is not recommended.

Lexus is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
Training & Support
Lexus is housebroken in her foster home and has shown improvement with daytime crate use. She benefits from a consistent exercise schedule to build confidence and reduce clinginess. Adopters should be prepared to follow the 3-3-3 rule for rescue dogs, allowing her time to adjust, train, and bond.

- Each dog goes home with a goody bag including collar/leash, toys, chews, Kong, and more.
- You will receive all medical records, microchip transfer form, and other paperwork at the time of adoption.
Transporation
Lexus is located in Stanwood, WA. Adoptions typically take place in Stanwood. We have an approximately 300-mile adoption radius, reaching as far south as the Portland, OR area and as far north as Vancouver, BC. You must be able to pick up your puppy in Stanwood, WA. We do not ship dogs.
