Leroy

Meet Leroy! This sweet 10-year-old bluetick coonhound is a true gem who found himself needing a new home through no fault of his own. Leroy's journey began with a loving owner who sadly passed away. He then moved to live with her brother, but unfortunately, that owner is now also undergoing cancer treatment and can no longer care for their senior dogs. Despite these life changes, Leroy remains a happy and fun-loving boy who still enjoys exploring the outdoors and sniffing around. He's a friendly goofball who seems to have some household training and is ready to embrace his golden years. We promised Leroy that the rest of his life would be the best of his life, and we hope you can make that a reality for him!

Leroy would thrive in a home where he can continue to enjoy his love for exploring and sniffing.

Ongoing Health

Leroy is a senior dog and has been neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Leroy seems to have some household training, but he is noted as not being house-trained. Continued guidance and patience will help him succeed.

Transporation

Leroy is currently located in South Carolina. Transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new companion. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
