Trooper is an 18-24 month old, large, mixed-breed boy with a heart of gold and a lot of spirit! He's a energetic pup who loves to play and has a lot of life to live. Trooper is looking for his forever home where he can continue to learn and grow. He had a rough start in life and has some special needs due to head trauma from a past car accident, but he's a resilient boy who is ready for a fresh start.

Ideal Home

Trooper is a high-energy dog who plays rough and hard, so he would likely do best in a home with older children or adults who can keep up with his enthusiasm. He also has a high prey drive, so a home without small pets might be best.

Ongoing Health

Trooper is heart-worm negative and fully vetted. He is navigating his special needs due to head trauma, but is otherwise a healthy boy.

Training & Support

Trooper is house and kennel trained and walks well on a leash. He also rides great in the car, making him a wonderful adventure buddy! Because of his high energy and rough play style, he would benefit from continued training and guidance to help him channel his energy positively.
