He's estimated to be a little over a year old and weighs around 60 lbs, likely a pittie mix, though breed and age are always our best guess with rescue dogs. Bear is a dog who is eager to learn and responsive, especially with his treat motivation, making him a joy to train.

He would do well with a confident, calm, larger female dog who won't be overwhelmed by his playful energy. He needs a home that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing training.

Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
