Bear Buddy Heart is a handsome, confident, and people-loving guy with a big personality to match his big presence! He's estimated to be a little over a year old and weighs around 60 lbs, likely a pittie mix, though breed and age are always our best guess with rescue dogs. Bear is a dog who is eager to learn and responsive, especially with his treat motivation, making him a joy to train.
Ideal Home
Bear thrives on human interaction and loves to be involved in whatever you're doing, whether it's soaking up attention or just lounging nearby. He would do well with a confident, calm, larger female dog who won't be overwhelmed by his playful energy. Bear has shown curiosity and restraint around cats, suggesting he could live peacefully with a dog-savvy, confident feline friend with slow introductions. He needs a home that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing training.
Ongoing Health
Bear is a healthy boy and has received all necessary vetting.
Training & Support
Bear is house and crate trained, and responsive to corrections. He's still in his puppy phase and needs continued guidance on leash manners, especially around other dogs, and learning to contain his excitement. With structure, proper introductions, and the right dog match, he'll be a wonderful playmate. He enjoys enrichment puzzles, which are great for his brain!
