Louie

Louie is a sweet, loving, and playful mixed breed boy, about 70 pounds, who found himself homeless in Fountain Valley earlier this year. He was rescued by some kind girls who couldn't bear to leave him to fend for himself and was then fostered by someone who saw a social media post. Louie was wonderful with the young children in his foster home. While he was initially okay with the resident dogs, a week into his stay, an unprovoked attack by another dog resulted in Louie sustaining a leg injury. In an attempt to break up the fight, Louie's foster was also bitten. Louie received veterinary care and recovered, but sadly, no owner ever came forward. He was then rescued by AALOC and is now ready to find his forever family as an only pet.

Ideal Home

Louie would do best as the only pet in the home. For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances.

Ongoing Health

Louie has fully recovered from his previous leg injury.

Training & Support

Louie is a wonderful companion who has shown he can be great with children.
