Hi there! I’m Lucy, a sweet and silly girl with a heart full of love just waiting for my forever family. I’m about a year old and a medium-sized mix with big, soulful eyes that have seen a lot but never lost their spark. Not too long ago, I was found alone and injured on the side of the highway in Miami, FL. I was scared, weak, and couldn't even walk. But thanks to some wonderful people, my journey to recovery began.

Day by day, I got stronger. I learned to lift my head, then to stand, and eventually, I was running again! Now, I'm feeling better than ever, gaining weight, and building muscle. I’m healthy, happy, and ready for my next adventure. I absolutely adore other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playful pup friend to share my days with. I’m also a total “Velcro dog” in the best way possible – I just want to be close to my people, whether we're playing, cuddling, or just enjoying each other's company. I cherish every moment and wake up excited to embrace each new day.

Ideal Home

A home with another playful dog would make me happiest. I thrive on companionship and want to be near my people at all times.

Ongoing Health

I am healthy and happy, though I am still gaining weight and building muscle after my past injuries.

Training & Support

I am still working on some things, but I am eager to please and learn.
