About Darcie

Meet Darcie, a 1-year-old, 37 lb bundle of joy who is part Labrador Retriever and part pure retriever! This goofy girl is fueled by zoomies, snacks, and a whole lot of love. Darcie is bursting with energy and ready to explore the world, one splash puddle and hiking trail at a time. Like many retrievers, she’s a water enthusiast – kiddie pools are amazing, mud puddles are even better, and bath time is… a work in progress. After a day of adventure, she’s happy to relax on the couch, “borrow” some snacks, and enjoy some quality time. Darcie is sweet, playful, and eager to create new memories with her forever family.

Ideal Home

Darcie would love a family that can keep up with her adventurous spirit and showering her with affection. She is happy to join a family with children.

Ongoing Health

Darcie is heartworm positive, as she was not on prevention by her previous family. Heartworms are treatable, and with the right treatment, she can live a long and happy life. She is up to date on vaccinations and will be spayed before going to her new home.

Training & Support

Darcie's eagerness for snacks might mean she needs some gentle guidance on personal space around food.
