Wendy

Wendy is a 1.5-year-old, 65 lb bundle of energy and affection! She's a beautiful girl with a charming scruffy face, long legs, and a uniquely curved tail. Wendy is a happy, social, and goofy teenager who absolutely loves other dogs and will enthusiastically invite you to join in on her games of tug-o-war. She's a toy enthusiast and will always want to be the first to explore new goodies!

Wendy thrives outdoors, enjoying games of fetch, zoomies, and keep-away. She's also content to relax under a tree and soak up the sun. Inside, she's a snuggle bug who loves to be a lap dog and shower you with kisses. While she might bark for attention or if a toy isn't shared, she usually quiets down quickly with a little distraction.

Ideal Home

Wendy would be happiest in a home with one or more active, large dogs to play with. Due to her occasional mouthiness when excited, we recommend a home with children aged 10 and older. Because we suspect she may have had a difficult past, a dog-savvy adopter who understands how to build trust with kindness and patience would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Wendy is spayed, vaccinated, screened for parasites, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Wendy can be mouthy when excited and might bark for attention or when she feels a toy isn't being shared. Gentle redirection and distraction usually help her settle. Meeting her with kindness and patience will help her blossom into your best friend.
