Santiago is a goofy, exuberant, friendly, and happy guy who has clearly overcome a difficult past. Despite being brought in with a prong collar embedded in his neck, he remains full of love and a zest for life! He enjoys playing with other dogs, knows basic commands, and is house, leash, and crate trained. Santiago's personality shines through with his wiggly tail, huge grin, and love for car rides with the windows down. He can often be found with a teddy bear in his mouth or chasing tennis balls. He is a big boy, weighing 105 lbs, and has a spirited and bouncy nature.

Ideal Home

Santiago would do best in a home with adults or teenagers who can match his energetic spirit. Due to his size and playful nature, which includes jumping up and play mouthing, he could potentially knock over small children. Therefore, children aged 12 and older are advised. He also enjoys playing with other dogs, particularly those with a similar rough play style who don't mind being a bit rambunctious. He should not be placed in a home with cats or other small animals.
