Journey

Hi there! My name is Journey, and I'm a sweet adult male Chihuahua mix. I was rescued from a commercial breeding facility where I lived with 179 other dogs. Thankfully, I'm now safe and being cared for by the wonderful folks at Big Lake Humane Society. Life in a breeding facility meant I didn't get to experience life as a beloved companion pet, but I'm slowly learning what that's like, and I'm so excited to shine!

Ideal Home

Because I'm still adjusting and learning, I can be a bit of a flight risk. For this reason, a securely fenced-in yard is a must for me. I also do best when I have another animal companion around, as I'm used to living with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered and up to date on all my vaccinations.

Training & Support

I'm working on building my confidence and learning to trust. Patience and understanding will go a long way in helping me settle into my new home.
