Meet Beyonce, or Bee as she's affectionately known! This 3-year-old, 37-pound "Heinz 57" mix is a beautiful blend of Husky, Lab, and Catahoula, with a mystery dad! Bee is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, making her ready to embark on her next adventure with her forever family. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Bee is a testament to resilience and love. She's a mellow girl who enjoys playtime and the occasional zoomies, but her favorite pastime is snuggling up on the couch. Bee is incredibly dog-friendly and currently thrives in a home with other dogs, learning from them and feeling more at ease. She's also friendly with children, having had positive interactions with a 5-year-old boy. While shy at first, especially around men, Bee is incredibly loyal and loving once she bonds with her people. Her foster mom describes her as one of the most loving dogs she's ever fostered, smart, and devoted.
Ideal Home
Bee would thrive in a home with at least one friendly resident dog who can continue to be her role model. She would also love a home with a fenced yard for her to run and play in. A female-led household would be the most successful environment for Bee, as she is particularly wary of men and needs patience and understanding to build trust. A quieter, more predictable household would also help her feel safe and confident.
Ongoing Health
Bee is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
Bee is fully potty trained and does great when left to free-roam. She is not a huge fan of crates. Bee is also great about sharing her food, toys, and treats with her foster siblings. Bee is still learning to trust men, so patience and positive reinforcement will be key. She walks better on leash when accompanied by another dog.
