Smokey

Smokey is a charming 6-month-old, brindle retriever mix with a heart of gold! He was surrendered by his previous owners in Memphis because they no longer had the time to give him the attention he deserves. Smokey is a friendly and well-socialized boy who truly never meets a stranger. He has a typical retriever temperament, is great with other dogs, and absolutely adores children, showing great gentleness with the young ones in his previous home. Smokey is active and playful but also settles down nicely indoors, showing good house manners. He's affectionate, loves to cuddle, and is already crate trained and housebroken. He walks well on a leash and is a fantastic car rider. Currently weighing 75 lbs, Smokey is expected to reach about 100 lbs as an adult, making him an XL companion. He's healthy, fully vetted, and up-to-date on his shots. Smokey is eager to be an awesome companion and potential jogging partner for an active family with kids who love the retriever breed!
