Ideal Home
Penny Love would do best in a home with a doggy friend that shares her cool, calm, and collected vibe. A male companion who enjoys company, isn't looking for constant play, and will respect her space would be ideal. If you don't have other dogs, Penny is perfectly happy to be your one and only, soaking up all the attention. She's also cat-friendly and would do well in a home with a cat that is similar to her current foster cat companions – aloof and independent. A nice big backyard for her to roam, play, and relax in the sun would be wonderful, but she could also thrive in an apartment due to her mellow nature.
Ongoing Health
Penny Love is up to date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, is spayed, and is on flea and heartworm prevention. She has also tested negative for heartworm.
Training & Support
Penny Love is a treat-motivated girl who is learning basic commands like "sit" and is eager to please. She is house-trained and is working on becoming more comfortable with her crate. She enjoys casual strolls and is happy to be a snuggly pal at the end of the day.

Penny Love is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
