ALPHA is a calm, low-maintenance senior who has been through more change than most dogs should. Originally rescued from Lebanon, he is now in foster care and making meaningful progress toward a stable, loving home.

He settles beautifully in the house, enjoys walks, is highly food motivated, and is generally easy to live with. ALPHA is independent, affectionate on his terms, loves being outside, and does not need constant attention. He needs a predictable routine, a comfortable place to sleep, good walks, and a person he can trust.

Ideal Home

ALPHA needs a quiet home with no children and no other dogs. He would do best with a single person or couple, with a male primary caregiver from the beginning to build trust. A home without frequent arrivals and departures would suit him best.

ALPHA can have occasional reactive moments when he feels unsure or uncomfortable. He needs a patient, experienced adopter who understands dog body language and respects his space.

ALPHA is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. His date of birth is June 10, 2017.

Training & Support

ALPHA is house-trained, responds very well to food and redirection, and has become less reactive as his foster family has learned his needs. He loves walks and settles well indoors.
