Meet Staples, a handsome and resilient pup who's ready for his second chance at a happy life! Found as a stray and sadly hit by a car, Staples received life-saving emergency surgery and extensive care, thanks to the generosity of our community. After months of recovery and healing in a loving foster environment, where he proved to be very house-trained, Staples is now eager to find his forever home. He’s a 1 year and 6 month old boy who is current on shots, neutered, and full of love to give. While he's been a bit stressed in the shelter environment, we know that with time, space, and a loving family, he will blossom.

Ideal Home

Staples would thrive in a home with a tall, fenced-in yard where he can safely run and play. He seems to prefer to be the only furry kid in the house, as he has shown he doesn't seem to like other animals at the shelter.

Ongoing Health

Staples has fully recovered from his injuries and surgeries. He is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

Staples is a smart boy who aims to please, but he can be a little overzealous, especially when first let out of his kennel. He loves to chase a ball and will benefit greatly from patient training, love, and commitment from his new family to help him adjust and settle into his new life.
