Freyja is a truly special girl looking for a patient and experienced dog parent who has a soft spot for shy and scared pups. She was found abandoned on a dark road, having recently had puppies who were sadly nowhere to be found. Thankfully, a kind soul took her in, and now she's ready to find her forever family! Freyja is incredibly affectionate and would love nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch with her favorite humans. She also adores car rides with the windows down!
Freyja has a special bond with her 9-year-old human foster sister and truly thrives when she has a family that can spend ample time with her. While she's still learning to control her enthusiastic greetings, she sometimes forgets her size and jumps when excited. Due to this, caution and training are recommended as she continues to grow. She also needs a little help with housebreaking, as her foster family works long hours and hasn't been able to establish a consistent potty schedule. Freyja isn't a fan of crates and can be vocal about her dislike. Like many pit bulls, she'll need some sturdy chew toys to keep her happy and occupied. What she needs most is a family with the time, patience, and experience to help her blossom into the wonderful companion we know she can be. She's already great off-leash!
