Mochi was rescued in March 2026 from the streets of Santa Maria del Valle, Jalisco. She is a terrier mix with a short espresso/black and white coat. She's estimated to be around 1.5 to 2 years old and weighs 26 pounds as of June 2026, making her a healthy size. Mochi is an independent and easy companion, not overly clingy but happy to join in for love and attention. She's playful with dogs of all sizes and enjoys being in the middle of the action. Mochi has a calm, balanced energy, making her a great couch buddy and travel companion. She loves outings like running errands, going to the beach, and long walks, and would be an excellent partner for hikes, camping, and exploring nature. She enjoys car rides, walks well on a leash, and is house-trained.

Ongoing Health
Mochi is sterilized, fully vaccinated, up to date with her anti-parasite and anti-flea/tick medications, tested for heartworm and Lyme disease, has had a complete blood panel, and is microchipped. You will receive her health records upon adoption.

Mochi is house-trained and walks well on a leash. She is described as quiet and slightly reserved, with a calm demeanor.

Transporation
Mochi is currently at The Thriving Dog ranch in Jalisco, Mexico. She will make the journey to the United States once matched with an approved adopter.
