About Lentil - In Foster Care

Lentil is a charming approximately 3-year-old male Chihuahua mix. He recently joined us from a difficult hoarding situation, and as such, he's still learning about the world and needs extra patience and love. He's a bit shy and unsocialized to new environments, so a quiet and understanding home will be best for him. Lentil will be vetted once he has had time to decompress and feel more comfortable.

Ideal Home

Lentil would do best in a home that understands the unique needs of a dog coming from a hoarding situation. He requires a patient and loving environment where he can slowly learn to trust and explore.

Ongoing Health

Lentil will be receiving his veterinary care once he has settled in.

Training & Support

As Lentil is unsocialized, he will need guidance and time to adjust. He is not currently house-trained.
