Donnelly

Meet Donnelly! This almost 3-year-old boy has been waiting patiently for over two and a half years to find his forever family. He was found as a stray with his litter and, after limited human interaction until about three months old, he's still learning to trust. Donnelly can be a bit shy and might offer a soft growl when unsure, but it's just his way of expressing caution, not aggression. With a little patience and understanding, he blossoms! Give him space initially, and he'll soon approach for gentle sniffs and licks, becoming your devoted shadow. He finds comfort and confidence around other dogs and enjoys playtime with toys and cozying up under blankets. Donnelly knows "sit" and takes treats delicately.

Ideal Home

A patient and understanding home would be ideal for Donnelly to continue building his confidence. He thrives with the companionship of other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Donnelly has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Donnelly is still working on leash training and prefers to walk close to his handler, sometimes even between their legs, as he feels most secure in new environments. He sleeps through the night and enjoys snuggling.
