Meet Max – a big, bouncy guy with a heart of gold who's still learning the ropes of the world! Max is a sensitive soul who, while initially aloof, has settled into the shelter with quiet confidence. He's a curious explorer with a talent for finding "hidden treasures" in the garbage and a bit of a penchant for counter-surfing. Max isn't the most overtly affectionate dog; he'll allow pets but prefers to engage on his own terms. He absolutely adores playtime, transforming into a joyful tornado of fun when a tennis ball appears, proudly showcasing his toys.

Ideal Home

Max is looking for a home where he can be the sole pet. He thrives with a patient adopter who understands he's not a fan of a busy social life and would prefer his own person, yard, and favorite ball.

Transporation

Max is located at the shelter. You can visit him at either the Michael R. Frey Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or the Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton).
