Nellie

Hi there, I'm Nellie! I'm a 7/9/2022, medium-sized, long-coated black female Chow with a heart full of love to give. I started out a little shy, but thanks to my amazing foster mom, I've blossomed into a confident, curious girl who loves to play and cuddle. I enjoy chasing lizards, playing with my toys, and being right by your side. I'm a smart cookie who is eager to please and looking for a home where I can continue to grow and shine.

Ideal Home

I would do best as the only dog in the home. I’m not a fan of female dogs, and I’m selective with male dogs. A calm, confident male dog could be a good fit, but we would need to meet first to be sure. I’m looking for a steady human who can provide structure, guidance, and plenty of love.

Ongoing Health

I am altered and up to date on all my vaccinations.

Training & Support

I am crate-trained and potty-trained. I’m making great progress with leash walks using a gentle leader and would love someone to continue this training with me.
