Meet Roo!
This smart and spirited little cattle dog is ready to find her perfect match. Roo has all the incredible traits that make heelers so special – she's loyal, eager to be involved in everything you do, and always up for the next adventure. Roo is estimated to be 4 months old and weighs 19lbs as of July 10th.
Ideal Home
Roo would absolutely thrive in a home with another playful dog who can match her energy. Having a canine companion helps keep her engaged, gives her an outlet for play, and allows her to be the happy, confident dog she's meant to be. She's not a good fit for first-time dog owners and will not do well in an apartment. She needs an active home that understands the physical and mental exercise this breed requires. An experienced cattle dog owner with an active lifestyle and a fenced yard is ideal.
Ongoing Health
No specific health concerns are mentioned.
Training & Support
Roo is mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained. While she isn't a fan of going into her crate, she settles down quickly and does well once she's inside. She's also not destructive, especially when her mind and body are kept busy. Continued training and a commitment to helping her reach her full potential are important.
