M.K.

Meet M.K., a resilient and loving 3-year-old boy weighing 55 pounds. M.K. has overcome a difficult past, arriving at our shelter after being found tied to a car, emaciated and bearing scars. Despite his rough beginnings, M.K. has shown incredible resilience and a sweet, friendly disposition. He thrives on human companionship and enjoys playtime, especially with his beloved squeaky toys. He's also treat-motivated and knows how to walk nicely on a leash.

Ideal Home

M.K. would do best in a home where he can be the only dog. He has shown difficulty getting along with other dogs, likely due to a lack of early socialization, and tends to be defensive.

Ongoing Health

M.K. has received care from our medical team and is recovering well. He is microchipped, appropriately vaccinated, and has been given a 30-day flea and tick preventative. He was neutered prior to adoption.

Training & Support

M.K. is treat-motivated and responds well to positive reinforcement. He is familiar with leash walking and generally does well on walks.
