Toffee

Toffee is a delightful 9-month-old, 40 lb mixed breed, likely a Vizsla mix, with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul. She's a happy, playful, and affectionate girl who loves to romp with other dogs, play hard, and then settle in for cozy cuddle time. Toffee is dog and cat friendly, house and crate trained, and thrives in a home environment with routine. While initially timid in new environments, she has made incredible progress and continues to build her confidence with patience and encouragement. She's learning to embrace the adventures the outside world offers.

Ideal Home

Toffee would thrive in a home with a confident, well-adjusted adult dog. She needs a patient and understanding family willing to continue building her confidence. A home without an infant or toddler, preferably with children 10+ years old who are dog-savvy, is ideal. Please note, Toffee is uncomfortable around small dogs or puppies, so a home without them is necessary.

Ongoing Health

Toffee experiences some drooling during car rides but recovers quickly once she reaches her destination.

Training & Support

Toffee is house and crate trained. While she's been working on her confidence in new environments and car rides, continued patience and encouragement will help her continue to flourish. She previously had a fear of car rides but has overcome this with desensitization work and now enters the car willingly, associating it with adventure.
