Meet Julien! This sweet boy was rescued as a pup from a shelter in Wichita where he was sadly scheduled for euthanasia due to his timid and scared nature. Julien is a smaller dog who absolutely loves other dogs and truly thrives in their company. While he can be shy with new people, with a little time and patience, he blossoms into the silliest, most snuggly companion. A few visits and some tasty treats are all it takes to win him over, especially if you engage with his canine friends – he’ll be right there for a quick pet or kiss. Julien is looking for a calm home with few visitors, or a family prepared to give him a safe space when guests arrive to ensure he doesn't experience anxiety or stress. He’s a loving boy who has been a staff favorite for years.
