July is an 8-year-old, spayed female Pitbull mix who weighs 59 pounds. She was rescued from a local shelter in Houston, Texas, and is now enjoying life in a foster home. July has lived in both apartment and house settings and has adapted wonderfully. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves to be close to her people, whether it's resting her head on your chest or enjoying back scratches.
July has a moderate energy level, enjoying a couple of walks a day and playtime with her toys. Her "zoomies" are a sight to behold, adding to her unique charm! After playtime, she's happy to settle in for some quality cuddle time. She's friendly with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion, but she's also perfectly content as the sole furry friend in the household. July walks well on a leash with only a little pulling, rides nicely in the car, and doesn't react to other dogs she passes on walks.
Ideal Home
July would thrive in almost any home, whether it's an apartment or a house, as long as she has people to love and a cozy place to snuggle. While she has a gentle and loving nature that suggests she'd do well in a family, supervised play with very young children is recommended due to her size and strength, especially during her enthusiastic zoomies.

Training & Support
July is fully house-trained and comfortable in her crate. She is generally non-destructive, though it's a good idea to keep shoes picked up. She is eager to please and responds well to guidance. Continued leash training would be beneficial. July has not been tested with cats.

- Transports run every few weeks, and approved adopters will be placed on the next available transport. Please apply when you are able to accept a dog.
- We are a volunteer-run rescue and dedicate our time to these dogs. If you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply.
- If someone other than yourself is involved in the adoption decision, please ensure they are on board before applying.

Transportation
July is currently located in Houston, Texas, and can be transported to an adopter once approved. Transport is included in the adoption donation.
