BABY is a 4-year-old, 60-70 lb Doberman mix with a gentle demeanor and a zest for life. She loves treats, hugs, and play, and has a high energy level. BABY is great with other dogs and enjoys lounging on the couch, though she could stand to lose a few pounds. She is currently housed with seven other dogs and limited human interaction, which has impacted her opportunities for outdoor activity. With regular exercise, she can easily become more lean and athletic.
BABY is mostly house and crate-trained. She'll bark when she needs to potty and can use a pee pad if necessary. She sleeps in her own bed at night and doesn't seem to have storm or separation anxiety. She walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides. Her prey drive is unknown, but her food drive is high. She's generally quiet unless she senses something unusual.
This affectionate and loyal girl knows the command "sit" and usually complies, especially when food is involved. While generally a good girl, she does sometimes jump, which may be a concern for some. BABY needs to be leashed outside the home or kept in a fenced yard, as she is known to chase cars. She was originally rescued and her finders fell in love with her, but due to health challenges and managing multiple dogs, they can no longer provide her with the best care. We are looking for a loving home that can offer her the companionship, enrichment, and daily activity she deserves.
