Chetty JuM

Chetty is a jazzy lovebug, a female Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix who is looking for a special family to hold onto forever! She's still learning the ropes of being a good girl, like becoming more comfortable in a crate and walking confidently on a leash, but with practice and love, she'll master these skills in no time. Her foster family has been showering her with love and teaching her so much, and she's eager to share all that love back with her forever family. Chetty is a super excitable, mid-to-high energy pup who sometimes forgets her size around people. When her humans come home, she transforms into a happy, jumping jackrabbit! She gets along great with kids, but remember to remind your little ones that Chetty can sometimes forget just how small they are. While she's curious about cats and might chase them, she would do best in a home without cats, or with feline friends who can stand their ground.

Ideal Home

Chetty would do best in a home with no cats, or cats that can hold their own. She also needs a home that can manage her playful excitement and teach her to be mindful of her size around people and children.

Ongoing Health

Chetty is spayed, vaccinated, and has completed heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Chetty is still working on crate training and leash confidence. She can get overly excited when her humans return home, sometimes jumping on them. Consistent training and positive reinforcement will help her learn to manage her excitement.
