Oreo (great with kids, calm, house trained, cuddly, friendly)

Oreo is a sweet girl with a personality to match her name! She's a family-loving pup who will greet you at the door with a toy in her mouth and a wagging tail. After a long stay at a shelter, Oreo has been in a foster home, has completed her heartworm treatment, and is now ready to find her forever family.

Oreo absolutely adores the 19-month-old toddler in her foster home and gets along wonderfully with her male boxer dog sibling. She hasn't met a human she doesn't like and truly yearns for love. Oreo has many tricks to make you smile, from her tail thumping on the couch to her sneaky pawing for more belly rubs. She loves her stuffed toys and enjoys playing fetch. Oreo is also a fan of water and will be the first to jump into a kiddie pool.

Ideal Home

Oreo would thrive in a home with a laid-back male dog who can tolerate her vocal nature when seeing other pups on walks.

Ongoing Health

Oreo has completed heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Oreo can be vocal when seeing other dogs on walks, which is a work in progress. She is house-trained and does not exhibit destructive behavior when left alone.
