Dexter

Dexter is a handsome 3-year-old purebred Rhodesian Ridgeback with a sensitive side. He can be a bit slow to warm up to new people and values his personal space. Dexter is a special boy who requires experienced Rhodesian Ridgeback owners who understand his needs and can provide a stable, controlled environment. He arrived with us the week of February 6th, 2023, and is currently in an evaluation period for about a month.

Ideal Home

Dexter needs an experienced Rhodesian Ridgeback owner who can provide a structured and loving home. He is not suited for homes with young children due to his sensitivity.

Ongoing Health

Dexter is a special needs dog, and his new family will need to be prepared for his unique requirements.

Training & Support

Dexter would benefit greatly from professional training and desensitization. He has behavioral issues that require knowledge in animal behavior and consistent reinforcement to help him thrive.
