Jeff

Jeff is a 2-year-old Dachshund/Shih Tzu mix who weighs about 11 pounds. He's a sweet boy who came to us from Puerto Rico. Because he didn't have the most secure start, Jeff can be a little shy when he first meets new people or finds himself in new situations. He truly needs a patient adopter who will give him the time and space he needs to build trust at his own pace.

Once Jeff feels comfortable and safe, his true, affectionate personality comes out! He is a total snuggler who loves to be close to his person and soak up all the love he can get. He especially bonds with women and becomes incredibly devoted to those he trusts. Jeff is also a playful pup who enjoys the company of other dogs. He would likely do best in a home with a confident canine friend who can help him learn the ropes and feel more secure.

Ideal Home

Jeff would thrive in a patient home that understands his need to warm up slowly. He would do well with a confident canine friend to show him the ropes.

Jeff is neutered and vaccinated.
