Bella

Bella is a 1.5-year-old, spayed female Pomeranian x Chihuahua mix who weighs about 12 pounds. She's a sweet girl who loves attention and playtime with her toys. Bella was found as a stray and had a rough start in a noisy shelter. After being adopted and returned due to issues with resident cats, she's now in a foster home where she's blossoming and learning to trust again. She has a lot of energy and can be a bit mouthy during play, which she's working on. Bella is crate-trained and uses her pen when no one is home, and she's making progress with potty training, learning to signal when she needs to go.

Ideal Home

Bella would do best in a home with older, respectful children. She gets along with other dogs, but would prefer to be with younger, more energetic pups rather than laid-back seniors. She also does well with cats. Bella can be startled by loud noises and is an impressive jumper, able to clear a 2-foot gate, so a secure environment is important.

Ongoing Health

Bella is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Bella is working on house-training and learning to associate going to the door with needing to potty. She is also working on her mouthiness during play. She is crate-trained and uses her pen when left alone.
