Meet Jeter! Jeter is an adult German Shepherd mix who may be a bit shy at first, especially in new environments or with unfamiliar people. Once he has time to settle in and build trust, his true personality comes through — active, driven, and very much the classic German Shepherd. He loves staying busy and thrives with an active lifestyle. He enjoys hiking, bike rides, and structured outdoor activities where he can move, work, and stay engaged. He would be an excellent match for someone who enjoys spending time outdoors and incorporating their dog into daily activities. With other dogs, Jeter can do well in facilitated playgroups with proper structure and supervision. He tends to be more comfortable around female dogs and benefits from controlled, thoughtful introductions.

Ideal Home

Jeter would be happiest in a home with plenty of space, such as a large fenced yard or a ranch-style setting, where he has room to burn energy and relax. He needs an adopter who understands the German Shepherd breed, can provide clear structure and boundaries, and is confident handling a strong, intelligent dog.
