Babe Ruth is a sweet, cuddly 40lb American Staffordshire Terrier mix with an estimated birthday of March 21, 2022. He was rescued by Sunnyside from a difficult hoarding situation where he was kept outside in a crate without a proper bottom. Despite this rough start, Babe Ruth has a kind, loving spirit and radiates calmness. He adores being close to his people, whether for snuggles, resting his head on your lap, or simply following you around. His gentle nature has been known to calm rescue volunteers, and we believe he would be a wonderful addition to a family, potentially as an ESA dog.

Babe Ruth would do best in a home that can continue to show him kindness, stability, and love. He is looking for a family to call his own and someone to love him the way he's always deserved.

Babe Ruth is kennel and potty trained. We believe he would be great with kids and cats based on his calm, unreactive demeanor, though this has not been explicitly tested.

Babe Ruth is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be arranged to your state or a neighboring state. Pickup locations may vary. We coordinate with transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. You will be able to track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for transport tracking.
