Jax

Meet Jax, a handsome and sweet boy who is estimated to be between 3-5 years old. We believe he's an American Staffordshire Terrier mix, weighing in at a sturdy 65-70 pounds. Jax is a true testament to resilience; he was found suffering on the streets of Houston, near the brink of death. Thankfully, he was rescued and received much-needed medical care and love, transforming him into the healthy, happy boy he is today, ready to find his forever home. He is incredibly appreciative of the care he receives and only wants to be fed, cared for, and loved.

Ideal Home

Jax would love a home where he can continue to feel safe and loved. He is cat-friendly and would welcome a furry feline friend. He also gets along wonderfully with other dogs, especially smaller ones.

Ongoing Health

Jax is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and is currently in good health.

Training & Support

Jax is house and crate trained, viewing his large kennel as a safe space where he knows treats await him. He is highly treat-motivated, which makes training a breeze! He walks very well on a leash and has already learned a few commands. While he is a quick learner, all dogs can benefit from continued training. Jax is vocal about his needs, loudly announcing when it's time to eat or when he needs to go outside. He enjoys playing with his toys and chewing on marrow bones.
